With more than 7000 specimens, most of which are preserved by taxidermy, the Gallery of Evolution displays the amazing biodiversity of nature.

Many interesting exhibitions are organized each year.

The Gallery of Evolution (Grande Galerie de l’Evolution), located in the Jardin des Plantes – Paris 5th, is one of the sites ot the National Museum of Natural History.

Cinema museum

The Museum is the place to discover the history of cinema, also known as the Seventh art. It contains a selection of objects and archives dating from the early days of cinema through the present.
There are interesting temporary exhibitions and a broad program of international film screenings and retrospectives.

The Museum of Cinema is in the French Cinematheque, in a building designed by Frank Gehry, in the Bercy Park.

UPMC Mineral Collection

The collection of minerals and crystals at the Pierre and Marie Curie University (UPMC located on the Jussieu campus), was started in 1809, and is one of the oldest in France.

Nearly 1,400 minerals are displayed in beautiful showcases, representing about 500 of the 4,200 known species including some of the most interesting or the most aesthetically attractive.

National Library of France – Site François-Mitterrand

The Jérôme Seydoux-Pathé Foundation (Paris 13th), celebrates a century of cinema through a gallery presenting 150 cinematographic devices and exhibitions as well as screenings of silent films in the Charles Pathé room.

Behind the facade sculpted by Rodin around 1869, the architect Renzo Piano built an astonishing contemporary building in which the Foundation is housed.
