Visitors enter the intimacy of one of the great statesmen of the twentieth century, Georges Clemenceau.

Georges Clemenceau lived in this apartment overlooking a garden for 35 years, until his death on November 24, 1929. The place remains as it was on the day of the “Tiger’s” death, offering a glimpse into his private world and his interests through the decor, the books and the objects he loved to surround himself with.

Maritime museum

The Maritime museum, Paris 16th, contains old models of ships, works of art, navigational instruments and unusual marine objects.

Since April 1, 2017, the museum has been closed for a major renovation and will remain so until 2021.

The Museum (Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris – MAM) presents major artistic figures of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.

The MAM is located in the East Wing of the Palais de Tokyo. Due to renovations, the entrance is on the Seine side, 12-14 avenue New York – Paris 16th, until the autumn of 2019.

The access to permanent collections is free.
