Eugène Delacroix Museum

The Delacroix museum occupies the apartment and the studio where the great romantic painter worked from 1857 until his death in 1863.

The visit takes place in an intimate setting including the lounge, library, bedroom, his studio and the garden where visitors may discover paintings, prints, lithographs and objects related to the work and life of Eugène Delacroix.

Zadkine Museum

The Zadkine Museum is an artist-house museum dedicated to the memory and work of the Russian-born sculptor Ossip Zadkine (1890-1967). He lived in the house and worked in the studio that can all be visited, as well as the garden.

The permanent collection is presented in the museum rooms, the garden and the studio.

Free entry outside exhibition dates.

Rodin Museum

The museum (Paris 7th) is dedicated to the sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840 – 1917). It is located in the Hotel Biron, in the middle of a park where the great bronze monuments of Rodin are exhibited including The Gate of Hell, The Thinker, the Monument to Balzac, the Burghers of Calais …

The visit begins on the ground floor with a new room reconstituting the Hotel Biron as it was in Rodin’s day. Upstairs, the chronological and thematic itinerary allows visitors to appreciate the work of Rodin and his creative process.

Petit Palais – Fine Arts

Built for the Universal Exhibition of 1900, the “Petit Palais” (Paris 8th) has a painted and sculpted décor, mosaics and stained glass windows which constitute an exceptional decorative ensemble of the first third of the 20th century.

The building houses the Museum of Fine Arts which presents works of Western art, paintings, sculptures, manuscripts etc. dating from antiquity to the early twentieth century.

Entrance to the permanent collections of the museum is free.

The Gustave Moreau museum (Paris 9th) is a unique artist’s house museum which has retained its original atmosphere. All the interior design Moreau himself had desired have been preserved as they once were.

The museum has four levels containing about 1300 paintings, watercolors and cartoons as well as nearly 5000 drawings by the master of symbolism.
